Install Guide

Load OmniChess in Chrome manually

Install the extension in Developer mode—no Chrome Web Store listing required.

  1. Open the Extensions page

    In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.

  2. Enable Developer mode

    Turn on the Developer mode toggle in the top-right corner. Load unpacked controls will appear.

  3. Load the unpacked extension

    Click Load unpacked, then select your OmniChess folder.

  4. Analyze on the board

    Open a game on Chess.com or Lichess and follow FEN and eval live in the OmniChess dashboard.
